Inside, the world was a nightmare of vines and ash, of skies that bled red. Yet amidst the horror, she found fragments of hope—children trapped but alive, their eyes wide with terror.
Kael followed, his cloak of shadows shielding him. He believed he could rule this place, bend it to his will. But the creatures did not serve; they devoured.

The war began with whispers. The shadows seeped through cracks in the walls, slithering into the town, feeding on fear. Elara’s wand blazed, casting protective charms, but the darkness was relentless.
Kael, consumed by the allure of forbidden power, unlocked the Black Door. From it poured a storm of creatures, their forms twisted, their voices echoing like broken bells.

The townsfolk fled, but some were taken—dragged into the Upside Down, their screams fading into silence. Elara vowed to bring them back, no matter the cost.
She discovered a key of silver, etched with runes. When turned, it opened a portal into the heart of the Upside Down itself. She stepped through, her wand ready, her courage trembling but unbroken.

Brother and sister clashed, their magic colliding in bursts of light and shadow. The Upside Down trembled, the keys glowing with unbearable heat.
Elara’s love for her brother was her greatest weapon. She spoke his name, reminded him of their childhood, of laughter in the manor’s halls before the darkness came.

Kael faltered, torn between power and memory. For a moment, the shadows recoiled, and the keys dimmed.
But the war was not over. The veil cracked wider, and the siblings realized that the true battle was yet to come—the battle not just for their world, but for their souls.
