Rumors spread. A secret order known as The Shroud began hunting Aiden, convinced he was the harbinger of destruction. Yet others believed he was destined to save them.
A mysterious figure appeared—Selene, a warrior-priestess with silver eyes and a voice like steel. She claimed to know the prophecy’s true origin: it was written centuries ago by a seer who vanished into fire. Selene warned Aiden that the prophecy was a riddle, not a promise.

The city of Blackspire had always lived in fear of the mountains, where the wind carried whispers that no one dared to interpret. On the eve of the Crimson Eclipse, a parchment surfaced—its ink black as obsidian, its words trembling with power:
"When the heir without blood stands at the gates of flame, the world shall either burn or be reborn."

Aiden, a wanderer with no known lineage, found himself drawn to the parchment. He had always felt the world watching him, as though his footsteps echoed louder than others. Now, the prophecy seemed to point directly at him.
The townsfolk began to look at him differently—some with awe, others with suspicion. And when the first omen struck—a storm of crows circling endlessly above the city square—Aiden realized the prophecy was not a tale. It was a countdown.

But betrayal lurked close. His closest companion, Darius, revealed himself as a spy for The Shroud. In a chilling confrontation, he whispered:
"The prophecy does not speak of salvation, Aiden. It speaks of sacrifice. And you are the sacrifice."
Aiden fled, hunted by shadows, clutching the parchment that seemed to pulse with life.

His journey led him into the ruins of Emberfall, where the prophecy’s symbols were carved into stone. Each symbol revealed fragments of truth: the “heir without blood” was not just Aiden—it was anyone who bore no legacy, no lineage. The prophecy was a curse upon the forgotten.
As omens multiplied—blood-red rain, statues weeping ash—Aiden’s faith faltered. Was he meant to save the world or destroy it?
🔮 The Ashes of the Prophecy

Selene confessed her own secret: she was once part of The Shroud, sworn to kill him. But she had seen too much, and now believed the prophecy could be rewritten. Suspense deepened as Aiden questioned whether Selene’s loyalty was genuine—or another trap.
The turning point came when Aiden faced the Trial of Flame: a cavern where fire whispered his deepest fears. He saw visions of himself burning the world, of Selene betraying him, of the townsfolk screaming his name in hatred. Yet he walked through the fire, emerging scarred but alive
The Crimson Eclipse rose. The Gates of Flame—ancient pillars of molten stone—awakened. The Shroud gathered, chanting for his death. Selene stood beside him, blade drawn.
The parchment burned in his hands, revealing its final line:
"The prophecy is not fate. It is choice."
In that moment, Aiden understood. The prophecy was never about destiny—it was about decision. He could burn the world, or he could bear the pain of rebirth.

Suspense reached its peak as The Shroud attacked. Selene fell, wounded. Aiden stood alone at the Gates of Flame. The fire demanded sacrifice.
He whispered: “I choose rebirth.”
The fire consumed him, but instead of ash, light erupted. The mountains trembled, the crows scattered, and the world shifted. The prophecy was fulfilled—not in destruction, but in transformation.

When dawn broke, Aiden was gone. Yet his name—once forgotten—was etched into legend.
Years later, travelers spoke of a figure who walked between worlds, carrying fire in his veins—neither alive nor dead, but eternal. Some called him savior, others curse. But all agreed: the prophecy had been real, and its shadow would never fade.
